our expertise "direct passage"® installed distribution |
| Far outpacing our segment of "Specialty Projects"... "Direct Passage" (registered servicemark) is actually the fastest growing division within FINO Creative Enterprises, Inc. both here in and around Chicago and out-of-state. We are basically taking the dual role of both supplier and installer (usually in a sub-contracting capacity). You can add HUGE value to your breadth of offerings by leveraging us as your partner by putting a strong back end to your organization. And the origins of this line of work came from years of interaction with Builders who, when surveyed by what their biggest headache on a job-site was-- answered "install windows and doors" (probably because of callbacks). Rather, it's not that they couldn't perform installation services but more that they just "didn't want to". It's like: if you're a chef, who likes to wash dishes, right? You wanna cook, not clean! And what peace of mind, too.. in a New Construction situation: there's ALWAYS a service issue, right?! Sashes don't open the way they should. Your crew doesn't read the instructions. Your crew doesn't have familiarity. Your crew forgets something. A screen is broken. Or missing! Where'd it go (Gosh darn it!) Something "doesn't seem right" Aggghhh, my head hurts! Rather than chase someone down with 12 cell phone calls: use us and we can address all of this stuff right then and there. We'll take care of everything so it's outtah your hair. The benefits are enormous: -Fewer resident post-occupancy service issues -Tighter scheduling to do other stuff to get your home listed on the market faster -Consolidated invoicing with a fixed/controlled/predictable cost -Enhances your value to your client -Offers a new line of service to existing customers who are in the market for Windows, Entryway, Interior-, and Exterior-Door related services. -$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Three levels of Service within this category: I. "Rough New Construction" Install: Newly constructed building where you just need a crew to "stick the thing in the hole". Someone else will trim in and out. II. "Rough Replacement" Install: For like an existing home, an urban condo rehab, or an old building with lots of other renovation phases: the old is removed by us, modified, and a installed. Again, someone else does the other stuff. III. "Full Replacement" Install: A wholesale "start to finish" service from tear-out all the way through install and final interior trim completion. Almost as if we're wearing your shirt with your company name on it. "Direct Passage" makes sense for: Custom Home Builders: who want to spend more of their time in other areas of the home (like the staircase, the kitchen, doing to crown moulding, etc.) Home Flippers: who are maybe lawyers or doctors by day and hobbyist rehabbers by night who need a seasoned resource. Property Managers: Who want to use us on an "as needed" on an "a la carte" or on a "direct contract" basis on behalf of their residents in order to achieve a monster economy of scale. Other Window Companies: Who have "overflow work commitments" or have had sudden staffing shortages. Full-blown Remodelers: Who have spent many years doing additions, kitchens, basements, and baths and never thought about actually going into this line of work. Established Home Builders: Who want to make themselves even bigger and want to add a immediate new customer base that will share their internal philosophies. Big General Contractors: who are BIG! I mean BIG BIG! Like GCs who build hospitals, schools, and airport runways who had this pesky need "fall into their lap" and now they need a key resource. Architects: Who have spent the last 2 years creating this highly specific vision who now need a non-commodity resource to actually synthesize from a blueprint it into a real, tangible project. Historical Preservationists: Who want to make sure that traditional methods are being honored. Talk to us about how we can serve you in this or a similar manner. |
